This website (“Site”) and service (“Service”) is owned and maintained by Quest Sampling (referred to hereafter as “Company”). This policy explains what information Company collects about Members of the Site and how we use this information. The Company member program is operated as a survey panel for individuals who voluntarily register on the Site (“Members”). The Member can participate at offered surveys connected to the service and operated by Company or third parties. Under certain conditions Members may be rewarded in gifts (“Gifts”) for participating in certain activities such as completing surveys.

As such, the protection of personal data is a top priority for the Company as part of the Market Research industry and producer of information about people. Company is compliant with the guidance and requirements of the professional code of conduct applicable to registered market research companies and all current existing local regulations, especially as far as the protection of respondents’ data is concerned. Use of Other Information

IP Address – Company’s servers automatically record the first block of your IP address, your browser type and operating system when you access our site. We may use this information to help diagnose problems with our server, administer our web site and compile aggregate user information for our advertisers.

We can use browser cookies to the extent that it is needed for survey and quality assurance purposes. We will not record the entire Internet Protocol (IP) address of the device, but we will use it to determine the approximate geographic location to make sure that answers to survey questions are obtained from the desired markets.

If you do not want us to use cookies then you can easily stop them, or be notified when they are being used, by configuring your browser. If you do not allow cookies to be used some of our website might not work for you.

Access & Correction

Information collected by Company can be accessed and updated by the Member by using the facility provided on the Site (you will be required to log in first). Furthermore you can contact Company’s Support anytime and ask for any stored information concerning you. You can easily request deletion of your information by opting-out as described below.

E-Mail Communications

All email communications that result from your membership on the company’s website will be sent directly from us and will prominently feature the Company’s logo and our contact details. After completing a given survey, you may experience a gap of some number of days or weeks before another survey invitation is offered. While every attempt is made to send each Member survey invitations frequently, due to various factors, a given Member may not receive as many invitations to participate in surveys as they would like. Note that Company is under no obligation to offer any specific or minimum number of survey invitations whatsoever.

Opting Out

As a condition of membership, you must provide a valid email address and agree to accept survey invitations from us. If you do not wish to receive survey invitations from us, you must terminate your membership using the facility provided in the profile. In the event that you opt-out it may take up to 72 hours for your opt-out request to take effect. You will not receive any further email promotions from us after that time. We provide clear notice about what data we collect and how we use it. We offer choices about our data collection at a time and in a context that reflect the sensitivity of the data being collected. Panelists and survey respondents agree to the collection and processing of their data and may withdraw their participation at any time. Individuals also have the ability to demand deleting all the information from Company’s server. In order to delete all your personal data (your name, email, address etc) You must first be logged on. Open Your Profile go to settings, account and click on button ” Stop receiving emails and deleted your account “. Select “Please delete account and all personal data” and click on “Continue”.

Panelist Rights Under GDPR

1. Right to be informed
The right to be informed enables panelists to understand what will be done with their data, thus allowing them to make informed decisions and exercise greater control over their personal information. All panelists are entitled to receive information when their data is processed by Quest.

2. Right of access
By exercising their right of access, panelists can verify the lawfulness of each processing activity that concerns them.
Panelists will receive a confirmation from the team regarding whether or not their personal data is being processed.

3. Right to rectification

The panelists have the right to request and obtain from the data controller the correction of inaccurate data and the completion of incomplete data.

4. Right to erasure (right to be forgotten)

Panelists can request Quest to erase personal data concerning them from the database.

5. Right to restriction of processing

Panelists may request a restriction of the processing of their data. Upon receiving this request, Quest may still retain the personal data but must cease all other processing activities.

6. Right to data portability

The right to data portability allows panelists to obtain their personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. This enables them to easily reuse the data and, if they wish to do so, transmit their data to a different data controller.

7. Right to object

Panelists may object to the processing of personal data concerning them “on grounds relating to their particular situation.”

8. Right not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing

A panelist has the right not to be subject to a fully automatic decision (i.e., without any human intervention in the decision-making process) that has legal effects or significantly affects the person in question.

Minor/Children’s Policy

At Quest, safeguarding the privacy of children is of utmost importance to us. Our website is designed with the intention of catering to individuals who are 18 years of age and older. We strongly advise against individuals under the age of 18 submitting any information on our website.

You can submit a verifiable consumer request by sending an email to privacy@questsampling.com. Quest reserves the right to verify your identity to our satisfaction, which may include asking you to log into your account if you have one. Upon making a verifiable consumer request, you are entitled to receive the following information: 
  • The categories of your personal information that Quest has collected in the preceding 12 months 
  • The categories of sources from which that information was collected 
  • The business/commercial purpose for the collection or selling 
  • The categories of third parties with whom Quest shares personal information

As Quest has shared or transferred (as defined in the CCPA) personal data to third parties within the last 12 months, you are additionally eligible to receive:

Company reserves the right to update this policy from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your explicit consent. We will post any privacy policy changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice (including, for certain services, email notification of privacy policy changes).
